A few may know that I got my start in the stationery industry by working on custom wedding projects for friends. I then moved my business more towards the personalized gift and every day stationery as it was what I enjoy designing. I’ve never stopped doing weddings but the projects are always custom and generally for friends and family. I’ve also participated in wedding-themed design contests over on Minted over the years.
With my recent opening of my shop on Zazzle, I know feel that there is a home for all of these designs. The Zazzle platform gives you the ability to edit many aspects of each design right on your screen. They also have many different paper options for your to choose from as well as shaped card styles.
Each collection currently includes everything you need to send your wedding invitations: invitations, response card, accommodations card, directions card, belly band, envelope options and postage. Also available are a few day of wedding items: program, table number cards, place cards and menu cards.
A classic and preppy design with a touch of modernity in the typography. Shown in blush stripes with navy blue lettering, you can change the color of the text to better match your wedding’s color scheme.
Below is an inspiration board based on the blush pink and navy blue color scheme of this invitation suite. Carry the preppy theme on in your wedding with gingham ties. I particularly love the navy and pink bow tie at the bottom- perfect if you want to include your furry friend in your wedding.
The Spots collection has three color options:
This collection is big on being modern with oversized spots and a modern typography layout. I also believe there to be a hint of elegance to them as well. I should also note that the gold featured in the navy blue and gold spots collection is faux gold foil!
Here is an inspiration board for the spots collection which focuses on the drama in the contrast between the dark and light colors used. Another option would be to go really bright with the florals and accent colors. Especially if you are choosing the black and white theme.
